US Junk Jobs

Esping-Anderson pointed out 20 years ago that the US has an incredibly large “junk jobs” sector. It’s all about inequality. Lots of junk jobs, lots of unemployment and underemployment, and a handful astronomically-overpaid managers and financial sector brats–that’s the US labor market.
